Database upgrades are being performed on the OneCarolina databases.

The Banner OneCarolina Oracle databases have been successfully upgraded.

The following systems are now available:

  What's happening? (general)
A circuit between Columbia and Laurens is down, causing loss of network and internet connectivity for the Laurens and Union campuses.
  What's happening? (technical)
A circuit between Columbia and Laurens is down, isolating the Laurens and Union campuses. A service ticket has been opened with Spirit Telecom, incident number 925459.
  Who's affected?
Users on the Laurens and Union campuses.
  What's the impact on me?
You may experience slowness or poor performance while using the Internet.
  What should I do?
UTS staff are working on the problem. An update will be provided as soon as possible.

  Resolution (general):
Outage was caused by a failed router. Failed router was caused by a failed UPS. Both were replaced and service was restored.
