What's happening? (general) A circuit between Columbia and Laurens is down, causing loss of network and internet connectivity for the Laurens and Union campuses.
Who's affected? Users on the Laurens and Union campuses.
What's the impact on me? You may experience slowness or poor performance while using the Internet.
What should I do? UTS staff are working on the problem. An update will be provided as soon as possible. Contact the UTS Service Desk at (803) 777-1800 for additional information (Mon - Fri, 8am - 6pm).
Resolution (general): Outage was caused by a failed router. Failed router was caused by a failed UPS. Both were replaced and service was restored.
